So how can you give it away for free?
Let us explain. Hotels are not always able to book all of their rooms, and
vacant rooms bring in NO revenue. Putting travelers in those otherwise vacant
rooms for free brings in revenue in other ways, such as room service, hotel
restaurants, shops, pay-per-view television, phone charges, etc. It actually
costs a hotel more money to leave a room vacant than it does to give it away for
FREE. We work with some of the world's leading consolidators who contract with
major hotel chains to put travelers in those rooms that would otherwise remain
vacant.
Will I be treated differently by hotel employees since I am not a paying
traveler?
Actually, we find that the opposite is true. Hotel Chain Management knows that
if you have a good experience on your first visit, you are likely to return to
stay with them as a paying customer the next time you travel. You should expect
superior customer service from all of the hotels within our network.
Do you make it difficult to book a travel reservation?
Difficult, no, but we do ask that you read and adhere to the guidelines for
travel as set forth in the certificate terms and conditions. In order to
effectively handle thousands of travelers, a minimum of 45 days advance notice
of your desired travel dates is required. Also, you should avoid peak travel
periods since most hotels do not have vacancies during their "busy"
season.
What fees am I responsible for when I travel on this free vacation
certificate?
Your certificate entitles you to 2 nights of complimentary hotel accommodations,
excluding taxes, room service charges, and any other incidental expenses
incurred once you have checked into your room. Transportation to and from your
desired destination is not included.
Is my free vacation certificate transferable?
Yes, you may give your travel planning form to anyone you wish. Once the form
has been mailed in for processing, travel reservations may be altered by paying
a nominal change fee. This vacation certificate MAY NOT be sold or bartered.
